Help: Octavia Break Style iV - Bumps/choking

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have an Octavia Break iV, bought in September 2021, now with 2700 Km.

I’ve noticed for a couple of times now that when driving at slow speeds, starting drive, in traffic, and especially on hills, that the car starts to bump… seems it’s choking and I had to press harder on the gas pedal to have it move…

This happened always when I’m driving full electric - which I do 90% of the time.

Has this happened to anyone? Can someone provide any inputs to this?

 Thank you!

Hi, I know i'm late, but I can give you my feedback.

I'm from Portugal also, and mine IV has 7.5k km (but only 3 months old).

I noticed since day one that when i'm turning the steering wheel at low speeds, I heard a noise coming from the suspension.

At first I thought it could be from the new tires, but no... Still hear the noise when i'm parking for instance.

I reported to my dealer and they tried to fix it puting some kind of grease (I don't know the exat term in english, sorry!).  But that fix only became worse. They said that could fix it, but in case if doesn't result they have to disassemble and assemble again (without any new parts involved).

Thanks!
