Kessy Passenger door not working

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a Mk III superb 2017 and the passenger door kessy has been playing up for about 18 months, intermittently the door fails to respond to unlock or lock touches and about 4 times the central locking has started has clicking open/closed rapidly as if the door handle has been sending repeated fast requests.

I'm pretty confident the issue as the door handle or the wiring back to the ECU.

Can anyone suggest troubleshooting steps or guides?

Thanks in advance.

I point to the KESSY connector here ... it has Red and White cables.

I know because when I was working on the Passenger side I forgot to connect that...and KESSY wouldn't work :)

Sigh. Beck in again...

I had similar problems with my passanger door kessy (door did not open, locking  started rapidly clicking when tired to lock the door etc). It usually happened in humid weather and the solution was new door handle.
