FAO Blueflame exhaust owners

Featured Replies

I wanted to get a Milltek but that GB fell through, then a BF one came along. As per my sig I do have a BF one though ;)

I've heard a Milltek in a Seat and I found it very boomy, not sure if it was the lack of sound proofing or anything but SWMBO wouldnt have OKed that.

PS I dont have another car with Milltek/BF - SWMBO has a Kia Picanto 1.1, and there is a 1.1 Rover 100 but they aren't sporty :D

Exhaust gives a slightly faster spoolup and nicer spoolup noises, the Milltek I've got seems to be very quiet most of the time, and not too extreme when booting it about. SWMBO didnt complain (she would have otherwise).

So how tricky was the fitting with xenon lights?

Do you have xenons Harry?

No mate. My vRS has no options fitted :thumbdwn:

Wish I'd have gone for Xenons, ESP, Heated Seats, and Cruise Control tho.

Getting a second vRS in the next year hopefully so I'll kit that one out.

Well at least you wont have any problems when the exhausts being fitted. I'll swap you your standard lights for mine :P

Dont even bother with them on your next one! They dont work properly, they prevent you from fitting coilovers (easily) and the sensor thing gets in the way of fitting a performance exhaust  But...they look good.

Well if I buy a second one it will be for my mother so I doubt they would be a problem as she would want it leaving standard (until I get my hands on it) ;).

I'm confusing myself now  - Got a BF, must have been semi-asleep (or something :o ) when I posted I had a Milltek. Sorry about that :(

Both are good quality and if you spend enough time on it I'm sure they can be made to fit on a Xenon-equipped car too :)
