Sorry, yet another newbie

Hiya all.

Names Barry, (nick name Big Bear), own a 93 Forman Estate (Favorit) Silver Line, in Spain. I bought it cheap from a local Spanish guy about three years ago and it's been brill. Cars just don't seem to rust out there at all.

Any way, I live in Southend on sea, and here I own one of those Ford Scorpio 'Frog' Ultima's. I'm retired and the missus and I spend as much time as we can afford on going away.................ANYWHERE.................!!! Camping, caravaning, driving, flying, boating, power kiting, motorcylcing (I own a Honda Blackbird too) and when I ain't doin' those things, I like DIY and power tools, even if I don't know how to use 'em!!

I look forward to talking to you on the forums and hope that at times I can be of use.

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since

I have just found a leak on my front RH shock absorber. The car is fitted with DCC, so I am looking at replacing it with the Monroe "aftermarket parts" and also replacing the protection kits and top mounts while I am at it. Does anybody know what the correct bump stop length is for the iV, or how I can find out?

Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration.
