I now need a 64MB (min) USB stick, so I've gone for a Sandisk double ended so no adaptor needed!

Am I right in thinking that the download will only work if Sat Nav is open?

 

I have downloaded the PDF version of the manual but the translation is no better 😉

Yes you have to leave the navigation screen open and I think you shouldn't actually use the navigation process either until the download is complete. There is another posting on here giving other people's experiences (Stuartv's ''MIB3 map updates - again'') which may also give some help.

    Thanks, I read Stuartv's posting. Interesting but inconsistent treatment of say Software version 0270 vv 0276.

    The new USB arrives tomorrow so I'll get started on the update after it arrives.
