What happened when they reached 88?

Was on the Westlink in Belfast last summer. We saw a convoy of them. Counted 26 in total. Some sort of reunion.

Do you think they were together or was it just a coincidence? :P

I would suggest that they were all together - all with foreign plates from same country ( US?)

Shame i frequent that strech reguarly and i would have like to have seen another on the road, they sound rather nice when they actually run!!! Plates are belgian i believe.

25th anniversary of the delorean car. a 3 day birthday bash has started in northern ireland where they were produced.

Heading home last night, on the way out of Belfast at a set of traffic lights and the wife noticed a funny looking car. It was only a convoy of De loreans driving into Belfast City Centre.

By the time i got the phone out to take a picture while driving, with the lights changing!! about 10 or 12 of these had already gone through but there were the same number still to come.

The picture isn't clear (not so steady hand while driving) but you can see 5 of them.

p.s. they were in Lisburn about two weeks ago, and are in Belfast for the Lord Mayors parade or something, this weekend.

Just been told that about 20 came off the boat in Belfast yesterday evening. That must have been the convoy i saw.

I realise this probably won't be very popular , but I don't actually like them all that much.

Sure , the doors are nice but the car itself doesn't look all that great , the interior is pretty horrible and they aren't quick at all.

Interesting to look at out of curiousity , but would I want one? Nope.
