Škoda Superb Smartlink

Featured Replies

Hy guys.

I own a škoda superb 2016 ambition. The vehicle has a smartlink, android auto and apple car play.
I have xiaomi mi 11 I can use bluetooth but I can't connect to android auto.
I tried with another device Samsung A52 just connected to usb and immediately turned on ANDROID AUTO and all functions are working.
Has anyone had a similar problem or maybe knows the solution

Nothing to do with the car, its the phone, had a friend with a golf 7, same issue, same phone, threw the Žaomi phone in Sava, and bought a samsung!

Make sure using genuine Xiaomi cable. My Mi9T and Poco X3 Pro only connect with original cables supplied with phones and no trouble with Android Auto.

Your phone has to have Wifi 5g (at least on my Octavia mk 4) but Bluetooth and Wifi I have to connect manually each trip I make.

This system doesn't have wireless android auto so this is not the issue.  I believe it may be down to the operating system on the phone.  Likely needs Android Auto sideloading as it's not linked up to google servers.

When a Xiaomi Mi 11 was my primary phone, I often had to clear the system cache before the phone would connect to my Superb Mk III/Bolero via USB. Clearing cache is part of the Cleaner routine. I don't know the exact name for the routine because my phones speak Finnish.
