Parking Ticket Holder

Featured Replies

I've not had the pleasure of using this gadget as since I've had the car, it doesn't fit tight enough to the windscreen, hence not able to hold tickets. Is there any way to 'close the gap', or would I have to replace it?

Thanks.

Probably is broken then, because normaly it can hold very thin ticket.

Haven't used mine very much on the mk 3, the mk 2, yrs as better, but then again I liked things about the mk 2: better than the mk 3.

May you burn me as a heretic !

Remove it heat it up with a hot air gun and close the angle a few degrees so that it pinches tight against the windscreen when refitted.

Or do what someone else on here did giving themselves an ulcer in a crusade against the windscreen fitting company insisting that they change his new screen for a second time as it must be a different shape!!!

I suspect the screen has been replaced as the clips are never the same afterwards

Why not bulk out the rear of the ticket with a folded old business card?
