Should anyone be looking for anything.

Vehicle: Skoda Octavia tdi

Year: 2004

Description:54 reg 2004, 01,416 miles, 1896cc, Manual transmission(5 Speed), Diesel, Airbags Not Deployed, Power Steering, Central Locking, Electric Windows, Alloy Wheels, Stereo, Engine State Unknown. Incident Type: Accident all over

rear lights seem OK. edit: Just seen the nearside one is damaged.... oh well. :o

Another testament that Skodas hold up pretty well when things go topsy turvy.

I should think the only thing that car is good for though is engine spares and airbags for a front end collision octy. (front end only I should add)

The merest sniff of a scrap car and you're on to it Jason - Do you have an email alert set or something?

Keyword = breaking.

Always on the lookout for cheap spares for mine, especially engine bits. ;) Something is bound to let go sooner or later..... :D

Trouble is J when yours does eventually let go I dont think there will be much left of it.

And if that Propane is the cause then what there is left of it will be pretty well spread about the place.

On the plus side you may as well reduce your insurance premium to 3rd Party Fire and Theft. Pity they don't just do 3rd Party Fire...... Might be even cheaper.

I'll take the twig on the passenger seat ;)

I'm always more interested as to how the former owner managed to create such a mess with the cars up for breaking - did he barrel roll it into a forest or something?!

Steve

sunvisor in the back window..... do hope the child wasn't in the car at the time.

Brilliant description ..........

Incident Type: Accident all over

Only 1400 miles on the clock,

The stereo looks ok though.

It looks to be a stream HU rather than an audience which is a shame

Hopefully there'll be something for someone.

I know which dealer that one came from :)

I had a look at ithe dealers and IIRC (from start of reg plate) it was on a special in the showroom at a dealers very close to what will be the cars final resting place. Shame it's a MK II as otherwise i'd have been after chaving some bits for spares.

If I had to put my money on a road for an accident like that in southampton area it would be thomas lewis way every time. (talking of which there was a taped off section right by a ditch there the other day).

Still sad to see a nice car in such a mess.

Is that a cruise stalk I spot, could be a bargain for some one eh Stu ;)

BTW what is that on the passenger side rear wheel?

Well it was an elegance as it has climate control.

Thought cruise was on the wheel on the New Octy?

Looks like it was impresively rolled. I am 2 minutes from this place if anybody wants me to pop in and enquire about parts from it. Think i may go ask to look at the rear wiper arm knackered or not to see if it will fit ona mk 1 and work :)

Nope , it's on the left hand stalk same as the old one.

If you have the optional multi function steering wheel I believe it's there as well

Yep on the wheel if you have M/F one.

Is that the same stalk as the MK I needs.... if you see where I am going here which other parts would i need to aquire?

  • Author

Afraid not Mr C. :P :D

You need a Stalk and a Wiring Loom

Ahhh well, will have to just buy the lot new if i decide to do it :)

This wreck was featured on here months ago. At the time I also made the comment about the window blind and there maybe being a child on board at the time of the accident.
