Locking the Front Passenger’s Door

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would like to ask for help. Several times I have locked the car without the passengers door to be completely closed, or at the time of closing. I found out the now the right front door is not locking. Also when I lock it the mirror at this door is not locking. The mirrors can be operated manually and everything functions. If I unlock/lock the car with the physical key, then everything starts to work normal. But if just touch the KESSY then the car starts not to lock the passengers door and fold the mirror.   Could you help guys, how I can fix the problem I created?

Hi

Are you doing less than 20miles a day?  If so then that might  the issue.   I had the same issue a few weeks back and couldn't figured it out.  With the help on the forum (even looking at Facebook groups for a solution) that was the diagnosis.

Otherwise it could be that the passenger locking mechanism is failing and needs replacing as it tends to fail on the older cars.

have you had it scanned to see if the door control module is failing and / or there's a comms issue? battery is one potential issue but a scan would also tell you that.
