My radio has been coming on randomly without touching anything, I know you can mute it from the steering wheel, but I want to turn it off completely, if you turn it off by pressing the left button it turns off the whole system (Amundson infotainment) any ideas?

On many modern cars you can't switch the radio off, you can only mute. On my Edition, pressing the on-screen button mutes the radio but all of the other functions work.

Can you set to source media and leave it connected but not playing?

 

You should still be able to listen to Nav or be on other infotainment without radio/media playing
