So as per a previous post, i finally got hold of the correct 12v socket for the front socker on the octavia, i didnt have the removal tool and incidently screwed up the back surround/retainer thst hokds everyting in place, now i have 12v socket just wobbling around loose and for safety/obvious reasons i will not use it, i dont have the piece as when trying to bodge a fix the black surround fell into the trim panel and is gone forever, i know i can remove the trim and find it, but it was butcherd on removal so not worth the time.

 

Can anyone help, black surround/retainer part number? Or a link to a salvage comany i could request it from of one of there scrap cars.

Micmac, i just have the 12v socket bare metal no holder, are you suggesting just glue the socket in place?

Matt i think that was close but thats the socket in the boot i think, any idea on the front one?
