Android Car Play Connectivity

Featured Replies

Hi,

Trying to set up Android Car Play with the app uploaded and connected via the usb cable.

The app won't connect with the usb connection greyed out, wireless and bluetooth won't work.

Any ideas how to connect please?

Thanks

Tony

One of the essential settings is to allow data connectivity as well as charging ability.

Hi Supernovas,

As John999boy says, you need a cable that allows charging and data transfer.

I have just recently bought a Superb III, and tried the Andriod Play whilst in the showroom, and my "normal" cable did not work - the salesman did say I needed a Data Cable - which transfers data as welll as charging the phone.

Once I bought one - mine started working great. So, just make you have a USB Data Cable.

Hope that helps.

Jay.
