Turning off direction display on small screen between speedo and rev counter

Featured Replies

Hi when i'm using the navigation it puts  the next turn arrow in the little screen on instrument panel, how do I turn this off . I did it once by accident , but haven't a clue how I did it

It's an 18 car with the non digital dash.

Hi Flyfisher, welcome to the forum. That's the maxidot screen - you can change the display with the right-hand scroll wheel on the steering wheel. Mine is usually set to show oil temperature.

Sorry, don't think I explained problem clearly, when I'm driving I like to have my digital speed displayed on the maxidot screen , but when I,m using the cars navigation system I lose my speed readout and it's replaced by green arrow .If I use the little wheel to get speed back it asks if I want to turn off navigation, so I don#t know how to keep speed readout , along with the satnav. As I said it must be possible because I did it recently by accident .

I think you should use the left or right buttons (on right side of steering wheel) to get 'Driving Data' displayed.

Then scroll until you get the digital speedometer (not sure what it is called on the display).

Press the scroll button. or the flat button to the right of it.

Forget how I do it I just do it!!

I am doing this from memory.

There is the right hand wheel that is set in what is effectively another "button".  Press this background "button" and then use the wheel to scroll through the options. When you get to the option you want press the wheel to set it.

The steering wheel button to the right of the right hand scroll wheel will return the display to the previous setting, i.e. back to digital mph from navigation turn indication.

I’m chuckling. RTFM. 😀
