Water leak above my pedals .

Featured Replies

Need help from anyone who has experienced water dripping down from above pedals after heavy rain . Really need to find the entry point for this water . I have a 2012 Superb Elegance Greenline — Any help greatly appreciated ..

Do you have the sunroof option? Blocked drains are a common source of leaks. It's also worth checking the scuttle area for muck and dirt buildup that could be blocking drain points there.

There is no sunroof , all the drains seem to be flowing freely .. the water is not coming in Via windscreen , it’s a mystery wrapped up in a Puzzle , then stuffed inside an Enigma 🥵

Water can get in through the heater matrix but I can't remember if it would end up in the driver's footwell that way. Water leaks in the Superb have been discussed lots around here so I'd suggest a search and start working through what others have found. It probably won't be a quick fix so you'll need some patience.

Find the cabin air entry point in the 'water box' which I would imagine in a RHD car is the right (as we look at diagram) rectangular hole in item 3 here cross panel; wheel housing; a-pillar - Superb(SUP) [EUROPA 2012 year] (7zap.com)

That leads through to cabin fan etc inside car. Above passenger footwell area.

Now look at the equivalent area on the other side, which would be the entry point on a LHD car. This would seem like a candidate for water entry to above pedals on RHD car if not sealed properly.
