Cruise Control Retrofit - Fabia TDi

Featured Replies

BTW MonkeyHanger - I'd have to agree - I'm 6ft7' date=' and although the Fabia is comfy, I think if I started stretching my legs fully I'd end up warming my feet on the exhaust manifold!! (Thus the C/C for long journeys!!)[/quote']

6ft7 !!!

I'm only 6ft3 and my old Astra was about the limit for me. There's no way i'd fancy a Fabia, as nice as they are.

LOL. I'm used to being shoe-horned into my old Corsa, so the Fabia was a definite upgrade! Truth is, I haven't found a car I could reasonably afford yet that's 100% suitable, so I pays me money and takes me chance.

Going off topic by the way. Had my first service today (10k). 138 odd quid. Ummm.... slightly dumb question, but my Fabia seems to be going like the clappers now. Is this a) because I'm used to driving a Mazda6 (hirecar) that needs to be persuaded to accelerate, B) cos something has been done at the service, c) it's cold and I'm getting more air mass into the engine thanks to the turbo working better? Answers on a postcard.....
