Headlight Bulb Replacement

He[[o,Has anyone replaced there headlight bulbs for stronger ones.Usally change mine to 150% brighter for night driving.I.like to know your thoughts on subject.Cheers Andy

I would normally say, R.T.F.M. Do you have an owners manual? The online one seams useless. It says if bulb is defective, then change it (unless its LED), but does not explain how to do it!

Actually on the subject of manuals, does anyone know where to buy (or download) a manual from? A friend of mine has recently got a 22 plate Fabia and wants one. I've found the interactive one on the website, but would prefer a hard copy of it. Do stealers have them?

TFM does not say which are the better brands of higher output bulbs. RTFQ first.

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi everyone, I’m a relatively new member here but I’ve been maintaining my 2004 Skoda Octavia Mk2 (1.9 TDI PD) as a "time capsule" with only 21,000 miles. It’s my only car, used for social/domestic/pleasure, and I’m looking for some advice on insuring it as an enthusiast/modern classic. Hello! I am looking for a direct SD card patch (FEC ALL / CID OFF) to unlock Smartlink and Carplay on my Skoda Bolero unit. Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned.
