Silly question time. How do I remove the loom bellows from the driver's side A pillar to inspect the wiring around the hinge area. Does it just pull off or is it levered off somehow? The reason I'm asking is that the window switch on the driver's side has stopped working. The LEDs in the switch are still illuminating when the lights are turned on, but I've heard it's a common problem  - either the switch has failed or the wire supplying power to the switch has failed at the hinge. Help!

it just pulls back, but they can be a "good / tight" fit.

 

You can use a "BLUNT" tool to assist (wooden scraper or similar..........NOT a screwdriver) to get it started, but nothing sharp as it can damage the rubber.

Push the top of it down and ease it off
