Hi guys/girls

 

after some advice so have had rear tyres replaced and had free wheel alignment done today to say my geometry is out big time. I was told previously my sub frame is in need of replacement along with most of the suspension set up. So I have found a mk3 rear sub frame for sale with all the trimmings would this to your knowledge be a direct swap out if I purchased this. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I can see (see links below) all the mk2 rear subframes are the same but they are different to the mk3.

Thanks Mike saves me wasting money I thought it would be to easy to just swap out. So dose anyone know where to get a second hand one in good condition or new frame and parts.

Search on fleabay for "octavia mk2 rear subframe".  There are at least 2 listed at the moment.  A new one from the likes of Autodoc is around 150squid plus carriage.
