Hi all

heater fan motor stopped working so stripped out glove box etc to remove fan.

After a bit of this and that with checks it started working again. ( hopefully just a glitch)

Issue is because I disconnected the air bag off switch I have the warning light on the dash.

Do I need it plugged in to clear fault or is there a way round it

Big clue as to how you put the latching Airbag Fault light on. You need a proper code reader to clear it again.

I just unplugged the connection on back of switch 

That'll do it sadly, particularly if you turned the key with it unplugged. Airbag codes don't go away until they're plugged in and reset.

yes I turned the key with it unplugged to test stuff.

Find someone on here with VCDS there is a post/sticky with a map. Hopefully do it for nothing or some beer tokens.
