SmartLink got stuck

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Encountered this problem today. SmartLink seems "stuck". I'm pushing the SmartLink button in the menu, but nothing happens. Seems like SmartLink froze or something?

I've read that you can do a factory reset for SmartLink specifically, but I couldn't find it in the menu.

Is it possible to restart the Skoda Infotainment system? Because turning it off and on does nothing.

Skoda Scala 2022 with Bolero.

Thanks!

Press on off for 20 or so seconds and system will reboot. Usually with a loud pop in the speakers. Have rebooted my unit a few times this way when it frozee

Ok, started the car today and it got fixed by itself. Probably some software bug or something.

Thanks anyway guys. At least now I know that the infotainment system can be rebooted!

There is so many problems that have no explanation and after time it get fixes by itself… Like our Scala had problem with the microfon. It was making so much noice that you are not allowed to speak with someone using the car bluetooth. After 2 month it get fixed by itself.

Now it losses DAB signal very often and it is so annoying but I know it will get okay after few weeks.
We have Bolero and I don’t think it get any updates.

The Bolero sux saw it in a kamiq few days ago too. They should sell it with the amundsen only, no problems with that one.
