When I turn the temperature down on my Karoq the entertainment screen dims for a couple of seconds is this correct?

Never noticed it myself!

My Karoq has always done this, temp up or down. I don't know the significance of it is, but it doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect on it.

i hadn’t noticed it before just seemed a bit weird 

Mine does this too - for me it doesn't just go dim though - it dispalys the temperature setting of left and right in the upper two corners of the screen for a moment and then disapears and the screen goes back to normal.

BTW same thing happens when you adjust audio volume by volume control on infotainment unit.
