Over 40k car tax surcharge

I had my car off the road during the pandemic for 8 months,  with the surcharge car tax is normally £500 does anyone know if it would become a Partial car tax surcharge for just 4 months before the 5 year limit. 

Or would I still get charged the full year at £500.
