This should tell you the main important details on the Ad-Blue.

IIRC you can see range left in I think the same display that shows you speed, fuel range, average mpg etc, by scrolling steering wheel controls.

I think this is all the information you should need.

Because that's a variable, not a fixed N miles per unit volume?

Spoiler

@Joss1733

Hopefully they were not greedy with the Adblue they gave you even if they only gave as much diesel as you paid for.

Check on the car how much range the AdBlue is showing now.

By 2016 Alhambra came full and showing 7,000 miles, and each time it was filled there was more range, that was until it eventually decided to just sip the AdBlue and go into full VW Cheat mode.

^^^ This thing there in error.

AdBlue app.

Skoda had some website that showed Adblue calculations.

It will depend on how your car is driven how much Adblue it uses.

There was a thread recently with Superbs getting up to 18,000 miles i think from what must be a very big tank. or another VW Defeat Device in action.

if you want to display adblue on the main dash you are going to need access to an OBDeleven or a VCDS

Select module 5F Information Electrics. Adaptions

Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_Adblue. Set to activated

Vehicle menu operation-menu_display_Adblue_over_threshold_high. Set to activated.

If you check through the dashboard options it will be available on the list.

@mitchecDoes that mean that on the car there is nothing available from the car leaving the factory until the car is counting down to not being able to start and you get a warning on the dash.

Does it show then the amount of Adblue required and range of what is left?

Mine didn't show adblue levels when I bought it. The only reason I knew it was available to display was that I had it on my old Superb Mk3.

i have tried and asked numerous people how to check adblue levels but no joy at all.i am going to buy some tomorrow to see how much it takes.

The reduction agent tank has a volume of approx. 12 litres.

According to D4B809CDE79-Maintenance.pdf

@Joss1733  Please do not just go adding AdBlue to see how much you can get in.

?

How many miles have you driven since getting the car?

If you are going to ask anyone ask the Master Tech where you got the car from or at another main dealership.

?

Is there really no way of knowing the range the Adblue will be giving on the car or on the App on a Smart Phone?

*** See the very bottom screen shot.***

NOTICE.

Do not overfill.                            Also pay attention to the 30 seconds to allow the system to register the Adblue added.

i have done 1200 miles since i got it but got no idea how much of adblue was put in . it is a lease car and it got delivered  by car transporter .cheers

There will be a warning when you need AdBlue and then is the time to add 10 litres maybe or just 5 litres.

If you are going to head off on a 1,000 mile trip where there is no adblue for sale then that would be when you might want a container in the car.

Otherwise you will likely never be more than 50 miles where you can buy some.

Containers at Filling Stations or use the Adblue Pump and if the person in the shop says that is only for commercials tell them you are a commercial driver and you drive a diesel because you are, and can you get a VAT receipt please.

Mine, as standard, has the option as above (Mitchec), where you can add the AdBlue range to the dash info, no coding required. It also gives min and max amount to add. Mine when full gives 13,000 miles range, motorway driving extends that significantly.

Does the AdBlue Range 'option' not appear as per Mitchec second photo when selecting what can be viewed in the right or left dash data? I think its in settings but I have deselected lots of stuff I don't want to have to scroll through on each side of the dash information windows and mine is just tick the box and then its added to the data when I scroll through the information. For me its one scroll from Range, as I have Range primarily displayed in the RH info display.
