Hi all! I have an Octavia 3 Scout from 2015 which I bought used in Czechia. I didn't know or need a towbar until now, and I didn't know this car is equipped with one, but apparently it is. The problem is that the towing ball appears to be missing, I can't find it anywhere in the trunk. I went to an official Skoda service in Prague and they told me the part nr for it is 5E9 803 902 A, but they don't have it. I tried to look for it online, but I can't find any sellers by the part nr. I'm attaching some pictures of the system. I'd really appreciate some advice on where I could find one. Thanks!!

A Skoda dealer should be able to order it for you.

This UK based company claim they can get you one, but it seems crazy to buy from here and have shipped all the way to Czech.

At that price I would be keen to find one in a scrapyard!

Do you have a Westfalia Automotive distributor near you? They make the OEM towbars for Skoda.

When I was looking for a Scout in 2019, I only found one with factory fitted towbar, and that's the one I purchased, it was a 2016.

Best bet is monitoring ebay-kleinanzeigen.de you'll be able to buy a bar + hook for app. €125,- and than ask them to only ship the hook.

9months ago there were at least 4 bars available, currently none.

Ye, that looks the same as mine with the same setup as YOSS. 

Thanks for all the super helpful replies so far! I was away for work and forgot to check back in. 300e is definitely super overkill for this... If possible I'd definitely try to pinch something up cheaper. I checked local junkyards and they don't have any Occy 3 Scouts, they said it's still too new to get to those places. If the one Ruben linked works for me, I'd try to risk it and buy that one. NZ100 are you fairly sure it looks the same? If yeah I'll hit the button :D
