Cost of brake fluid change

Featured Replies

Hi all, went to my local dealership today to book my vrs in for a service, 90,000, and asked them to include brake fluid change,

Half an hours labour plus brake fluid usually.

Be about the same from us.

Mine was £30 all in and I thought that was bloody good!! well done hazeldons in doncaster.

i think we charge £35 + VAT at the FORD dealership i work for , mechanics get 0.4 hours to do it in conjunction with a service so nearly £50 seems a lot

Depends on what the labour rate is i guess.

now that i don't know , all i do know is i wouldn't enjoy paying it

I paid £48 all in for it to be done at a main dealer.

(Car under warrenty and all)

I have just been quoted £22.00 with the 20k service!

I am now worried that I have missed something like the charge for the fluid

i was going to do mine at home this weekend (and change the clutch slave cylinder at the same time). Cost - just the fluid :-)

Full pressure bleed @ my place
