Windscreen washers failed.

Featured Replies

Hi. A friend of mine has a 2018 1.4 model and the windscreen washers have failed, he has checked the fuse behind the glovebox and that appears to be okay. I was hoping someone here may have a solution, or if this is a dealer repair, or something that can be done by the owner who is very practically minded.

Do either of the washers (front and rear) still work?

I think the wipers work but not the washers, front or back.

Are there any other related fuses somewhere?

Almost certain the issue is the washer pump (yes singular, the car uses the same pump front and rear).

Karoq or Octavia? 1.4L ?

It is a Karoq. (Not mine)

He will take it to our Skoda dealer as I think he has the extended warranty which may cover it.

Thanks for you help.
