Seat covers for Monte Carlo

Featured Replies

Hello! I’ve just ordered a Monte Carlo and was wondering if anyone knows of any tailored protective seat covers to fit the front seats?
thanks

Can I ask why you want them?

Skoda/Kamiq/ VW group seats/upholstery are very hard wearing and decent, so unless you are regularly transporting rabid dogs with a penchant for tearing apart car seats you should be ok.

Purely to keep the seats clean. I’ve used covers in my previous cars during the working week to keep things nice. It’s not very often but occasionally I end up with grease or oil on my work clothes

Fair enough.

This reminds me of years ago we had a Brand new Vauxhall Astra SXI.  Our nipper was due and the Mrs waters broke.  Not wanting the seats to get messed up I made her sit on a bin bag !

Cue a sharp intake of breath 😆.

I have a coloscopy every 5 years (I think) the preparation starts the night before with drinking an industrial strength laxative, its always a difficult night and just when you think there cannot be any more to come there is. I now sleep on a sheet of polythene and when the VSL (medical taxi) comes to collect me I lay a bin liner on the seat before getting in.

So far it hasn't been needed but the drivers are always appreciative, they say nobody else does that but I am surprised that they dont do it themselves, although on reflection they may not know whether I am having a procedure or a check up.

Good reminder for the OP.

Air bag compatible.  If the seats have airbags.
