Does VCDS Micro-Can work on Karoq

I am looking to swap my wife's Yeti for a 2018 Karoq and wondered whether the Ross-Tech Micro-CAN that I have will work with it?

 

If so I also though I might run an Aut0-scan of the car before I buy it. It is at a car supermarket. Any thoughts?

It just might not show the latest modules - which may or may not be of interest.

Many thanks. Will the showroom be ok if I take my laptop and VCDS and run a scan?
