All Fabia's know what doors are open anyway, you can see through VAG-COM,I assume it uses those sensors.

The 11/03, 09/04 and 02/5 Fabia brochures make no mention Maxidot as either a stand-alone accessory or as part of the Sat Nav.

Yep, it uses standard door sensors.

Yes, it´s right, but I forgot your cars use MPH panels. Newertheless it´s possible to buy MPH facia (only that film with serigraphy or what it is) and swop the KPH fascia with it - I guess the calibration of the needles (or pointers???) must be the same.

£250 isn't "too" bad for a bit of poshness on the dashboard if it is a straight swap?

Lol - didn't we start a kind of group buy before...?

I'd pay

How much time would be involved in trying this out + cost, I might be interested if someone is prepared to spend time on this. Got official VAGCOM lead etc so that wouldn't be a problem.

I definitely need MPH scales and the correct mileage showing.

Does the steering wheel need to come out?

I'd throw

Will have to have a think about it - the biggest catch is the dashpod I suppose, dunno if the dealer(s) would sell it but will do some investigation :)

They do sell it seperately, DM Keith told me it would be approximately £250.00

Just a bit of info for you chaps.

6Y0 920 940 S KDO

Dash insert display unit for maxi check package

ASZ engine MPH readout

Price

That's VERY steep, rather a lot more then 250 quid

PS Thanks for the part numbers etc

Wow, i'm suprised by the price, on seconds thoughts VW I would give it a miss

Well I've emailed in something to DM Keith's Leeds' parts so let's see what they say, you never know. Kinda hoping it will be possible & allowed, if so there may be follow-up posts ;)
