Hey all,

 

So im due a brake change all round and found some nice cheap audi S3 calipers (same as the superb 272/280 but with a face plate)

Currently in the process of rebuilding and painting the calipers and want everyones thoughts on what to put on the face plate.

 

Currently they have 'S' on them but the OE options are 'S', 'S3', 'R', 'GTI' which all relate to audi and vw as it was never an option.

Calipers are being painted black and im swaying towards S3 as that is what the calipers are off, and S3 could mean 'Superb mk3' at a push

 

Whats everyones thoughts or anyone got any further skoda related ideas for me to put on them.

 

What about an Audi S-Line sticker, could look like "Sportline".

Could you just have stickers made up that say 'Brake Caliper' on them....? 😇

Black without sticker would be ok too…

Nice score! In my eyes the curved SKODA sticker only works if the curve exactly matches the contour of the calliper itself. 

 

I'll be upgrading mine to some brembos soon and i'm thinking something flat and clean like this. If too long could lose the logo...

I'm pretty sure your posting was a wind up but I am biting all the same.

 

Just paint them black, preferably matt black and then let them become covered in brake dust as they should be.

 

A good choice for braking performance though 👍

Don’t forget that ‘flashy’ color on brake calipers means regular brake washing, otherwise IMHO it looks even dirtier than original unpainted calipers.
