Swing headunit 5E0035871A upgrade options to have CarPlay

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have recently purchased Octavia 2016 with a Swing headunit.

The headunit does not have additional CD/SD card reader part in glove compartment. That part is just empty.

When I check from the settings I see that part number is: 5E0035871A.

Could someone please help me to understand what are the options to get CarPlay for this system in cheapest possible way?

I want to keep OEM look of the car and thats why I do not go with 3rd party android headunits. And otherthan carplay everything satisfy me with current setup.

Thank you in advance!

SashaGrace no longer owns an Octavia 3...

@pab567is the man you need

You must have your Swing replaced with MIB2 Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus - depending on your needs and budget. You need glove box, display unit, glove box unit, USB and extra harness. You can contact me on PW for details if you are interested.
