dealer cant figure it out none local vag electrics as well some

of the are telling that comfortblock is a problem

any ideas or suggestions?

This may sound stupid, but are any of your interior lights on?

I had exactly the same issue, I'd nudged one of the rear reading lights on but couldn't figure it out as it was daylight and couldn't see the light. I had flashing hazards and the tailgate flickered on the dash.

Mine did this, it was the nearside boot light. Everything works fine when disconnected but when connected (it all works fine when unlocked) upon locking the car, the alarm will go off and the hazards flash, torch fin boot will flash and the Maxidot flashes the tailgate.

Have you fitted any aftermarket interior lights recently? Specifically, LED ones.

No but problem is related as disconnecting the nearside boot light fixes the problem. Either the bulb, housing or diode is no good and therefore messing up the electrics. I'm hoping dealer will replace under warranty this week. I will report back to the couple of threads on here...

Dealer has now commented that it is a known problem for the light housing, not the bulb, to go faulty and cause these types of issues. A new one is on the way but for now I've just left it disconnected.
