Window weirdness

Featured Replies

I locked the car up the other day, keeping the remote button pressed until the mirrors folded in.

On returning to the vehicle, all four windows were open about  2.5cm/1 inch.

Have I inadvertently found a 'dog-friendly' setting or something? It hasn't happened before and hasn't repeated since...

Mike 🤔

Did you hold the unlock button while returning to the vehicle?

Holding the unlock button will drop the windows, depending on how long the button is depressed for depends on how far they drop.

Else possibly drivers door loom going but not sure on this

Mine does this on the odd occasion.

Usually the mirrors stop folding when holding the lock button. When I unlock it after, all 4 windows drop about 1".

Put the ignition on, roll all 4 windows all the way down, then all the way back up to the top. Once at the top, click up once on each window control again.

That resets the limits and sorts it out.

Thanks for the replies. I have just tried holding the unlock button for longer than normal, and it opened all the windows, stopping when I released it. I think that's probably what happened...
