Driver’s door - creaking [interior]

Featured Replies

Hey, guys,
I'd like to ask you, it was slightly colder this morning at -6'C.
The driver's door has started creaking unacceptably and it's around the centre/decoration moulding. When I press it, it stops. Has anyone had a similar experience, have you been able to resolve this? Thank you. :)

Mine rattles more than an old Leyland bus when really cold.  Figured it’s just the nature of everything being harder and more brittle due to the cold. No flex in anything. It stops when the temps creep up again.

Yes I know this too, I'm just sad that my second 25 year old car doesn't do it, and neither do the Dacia Dokker company car.. It angers me to think of the amount of money for such quality.

Yep my passengers side door creaks when very cold, was -4 for me this morning, once it warms up it stops, I just add it to the list of rattles & creaks that I already have.

Although my main priority is a cars reliability & so far it's past that test within all weathers.

Mine especially creaked when its icy. The ice around the window edges creak against the rubber mouldings and seals.
