165bhp and 380Nm torque should I do more

Featured Replies

SP-Tuning on Ebay have offered to Remap my car for a very competative

That's a lot of torque for just 35bhp extra isn't it?

1) My clutch fry

2) My dealer detect it as its under warranty

3) Should I save for Jabba etc the better known companys

1) Possibly - depends how you drive it

2) Yep, all they need to do is roadtest the car ;)

3) Depends how much you want to spend and what gains you want to see. An alternative to a remap would be a tuning box which is a similar price to the remap above, with similar gains, but can be removed in a few minutes. You'll also find a strong 2nd hand market for them once you've finished with it so overall cost of ownership is minimal :D

Clutch should be rated to 300LbFt i believe so clutch should be fine, just don't do burn outs or start jamming ya foot down all the time at low revs in 6th.

Yes the dealer will know, as soon as they take it out and stick their foot down (which they will) they'll know it's remapped. If ya after one whilst under warranty then you'll need a switchable unit, either AMD or Revo with the SPS thingy then ya can return to standard.
