Matrix headlight warning message...

Featured Replies

Apparently caused by a dirty headlamp aquired on an extremely (road) salty 50 mile run.  Quick wipe with with a wet cloth and restarting the car cured it.  Note, may car doesn't have the headlight washer system.  I was amazed.  Car even said which side was impared.  Has anyone else seen this?  Perhaps this is how Skoda get around not having a washer system fitted; get the driver to do it!

Simply Clever :)

No!  I've had something telling me the collision avoidance radar is impaired (when there's snow on it), but never anything for headlights.  (Ours does have the headlamp washers though).

I thought washers were compulsory for xennon and LED lights????

Washers OR automatic levelling, I think.

Can't say for anywhere else in the world but here in the UK, washers are only a legal requirement with High Intensity Discharge ( eg Xenon ) headlights.  Light Emitting Diode ( LED ) headlights are not the same as HID.

Does your car have matrix headlights?

Compulsory on xenon lights only as well as a levelling system.

For led no washer system is required.

Washers AND autolevelling, at least in mainland.
