Hi everyone found some oil in my driver side wheel arch any ideas

 I will flag this so a mod can move it to the Mk3 Octavia Section.

 

So give us a few clues.

?

Diesel or Petrol, Manual or DSG. 

How many miles?

 

Any servicing done recently, or inspections or issues other than spotting oil?  It could be from the engine or the gearbox.  But anything is a guess.

The Mk3 VRS TDi is a charge cooler rather than intercooler.
There isn't much on that side of the engine that has oil that could leak into the arch, not unless it is being forced up by the crank pulley or cooling fan blowing it back through. 

Is it definitely engine oil? Is your oil level dropping?
 

Definitely engine oil oil not dropped yet

Have you looked at the gimbal boot?  To see it, turn the wheels to the right and look behind the wheel to see if this gaiter is not damaged.
