im looking to replace the bulb for the cornering light. Is it the same bulb used for the fog light, or is there a separate bulb for the cornering light? And what lamp type is it?
 

it’s a Octavia VRS -2015

A bit late to the party, but as far as I'm aware the fog lights were the cornering lights? Unless on vRS it's different?

Mine has two bulbs en either side, the inner ones are used as fog lights and the outer bulbs are used as cornering lights in conjunction with the fog light. Both bulbs are the same type, a H11/16.

I'm wondering if that's unique to the vRS, or if it's standard with vehicles that come with cornering fogs from the factory. I enabled my fogs as cornering lights with VCDS, and just assumed that it would be the same for vehicles that came with cornering lights.

Only the vRS has two fog light bulbs, all other models have a single fog light bulb (which also acts as the cornering light).
