dpf repeated régénération

Featured Replies

HELLO
my 2011 fabia 1.6 tdi does repeated regenerations even when cold.
regeneration is triggered whenever the calculated soot measurement reaches approximately 25 gm(vcds)
I changed the FAP differential pressure sensor and erased the faults (no faults)
but the level of soot (calculated) rises rapidly and after a week regeneration is triggered (even when cold) which causes post combustion and sends FUEL into the engine oil.
someone can help me
THANK YOU

You should let us know your distance driven in the car, as the DPF lifespan might be getting towards end of life.

158000 km

There could be several reasons, when you replaced the DPF sensor, did you or the garage blow air through the lines to clear any potential blockage?

The 158,000km means that the DPF should not be clogged up with oil ash, and still have more life left in it.

I checked and washed the hoses

Was/is there any adaption required for the new DPF switch on the 1.6 TDI. There was a requirement on the 1.4TDI Greenline.

Les 158 000 km signifient que le DPF ne doit pas être obstrué par des cendres d'huile et qu'il lui reste encore plus de vie.

I tried with vcds.  on basic settings.  I think it's ok.  but it didn't change anything the régénération every 150 km .

The DPF needs a deep chemical clean and the ECU counter reset.
