Lots on CAVE because that was the beginning.  We pretty know from the SEAT Ibiza to the first Mk2 vRS's what is what.

I had one of the first vRS registered an Ex Demonstrator and so did a few other members have the first 50 cars in the UK.

Plenty still on the road, some with original engines.  Some were ruined because sales people / media never checked the oil.

But of the 1,800 CAVE in the UK about 25% have had new engines.  So never just discount a CAVE engine car.  But then it will be from 2010-late summer 2012.

Tyres means nothing. They can be replaced in an hour anyplace.

You want a well serviced car that runs well, good engine, DSG and brakes, suspension, steering etc.

If you know the reg number then out it up so we can look at the MOT history.

If there isan advert link it or say where advertised maybe.

  • @Awesam Was that a 2011? No idea why it would not have had '34F7' done other than owners not wanting it done.  You could find a CAVE with it's original engine maybe, but a replacement engine

Welcome.

Hard to say about this one. Great if all is OK.

DO YOU KNOW A GOOD MECHANIC THAT KNOWS ABOUT TWINCHARGERS & DQ200 DSG,s.  GET THEM TO CHECK IT< THEY MIGHT NEED TO WORK ON IT.

Never ever seen that colour.   Looks good.    It has not had a Full Respray has it?  *Possible car done by Skoda for a show or advert, special anyway.*

It is not a S2000, they lump them together in adverts.

it is a Mk2 vRS 1.4 TSI DSG

I see with an armrest.

EDIT. I see it has a sunroof.

There are no Front Fog Lights,

that has been showing since Skoda Launched the car yet a sales person can never show how to switch them on.

Past MOT,s look OK.

First MOT must have been a Tester that thought the Blue Bulbs in the Head Lights should work and are the sidelights.

It should have had Software Update '34H5' on the DSG sometime since 2017.

+I see the seller says oil changed. There are 2 oils, in MCU and in the box.*.

DVLA.

I See First Registered 2014 & says year of Manufacture 2014, well obviously it was manufactured before being registered the first month of 2014, so a 2013 car.

...............

Remapped.  Which is OK if it is and runs OK.   Correct plugs, coils good etc!!!

Modified.  Remap, Exhaust, Suspension, Wheel Spacers.

*********??????

CAN YOU GET INSURANCE FOR IT?. ***********

V5 change.  Why is it getting sold on so soon if it is?

FRONT WINDOWS, Is that extra tints on them, so illegal?
