Rear parking sensor intermittent fault after parked for 3 months

Featured Replies

Car was parked for 3 months, now getting intermittent fault on left rear sensor. It sometimes works, other times not. Generally once car has warmed up for 1 hour + it seems ok.

Where is the module located? I suspect there is moisture somewhere.

It's the left rear sensor coming up as faulty, but don't want to waste money if it's something easy. I never had any problems before it was parked.

Thanks!

Had this on the MILs Jazz.  A quick rub and a few taps with a finger and it was working again so i can only assume it had got a bit 'stuck' over time.

Got to be worth a try??

Loose connector seems to be the culprit. Needs firmly pressing in to connect
