Front shockers and springs HRLP 😢

Featured Replies

Morning peeps,

everything has been going well for months so had no need to bother any of you talented people,,,,that is until now 🤬

this morning had some strange noise from front and when I got to work my pass front is sat on its arch 🤣🤣,,,

I’ve looked on 7zzap and there are loads of variations would anyone happen to know the exact type ??? RK60YYD 2.0 VRS CEGA engine if that helps

thanks peeps

Have a look on the opposite side for the paint code which will be in the form of coloured dots assuming o.e. VAG springs.

Otherwise someone here can help decode your VIN to see what spec springs you require.

Of course a call to any VAG dealer will answer your question.

Third mark looks pink or violet not red.   If violet it could be 1K0411105DB as seen here (fifth line down in table): LLLParts

If you message me your VIN I might be able to confirm, trying out a new to me facility.

Edit: wrong link above, should be among one of these two: LLLParts or LLLParts, I think. Same part number for same colours though.

Here are the only choices for a 2010MY VRS Saloon

So it can only be 1K0 411 105 DB, with a red/white/violet mark

KYB RH3941 is sold to replace just 1K0411105DB and no other OEM part numbers, so should be an exact match.

Kilen 23117 is sold to replace 1K0411105DB, 1K0411105EB, 1K0411105EC, and 1K0411105JB, so may not be an exact match to 1K0411105DB.

KYB RH3941 is available on ebay from carpartsinmotion for £25.05 each

1K0411105DB
