Help me. Installing electronic foldable mirrors with autodimming.

Hi.

I have got a Nov '13 Skoda Octavia Mk3 without electronic foldable mirrors. door modules were 5Q4 959 393 B and 5Q4 959 392 B. Interior mirror has auto-dimming (it has a button and a green light).

Well. I changed both side mirror for ones with auto-dimming, entry light and foldable electronically. Also I changed bot door modules for 5Q4 959 593 E and 5Q4 959 592 E, and the mirrors knob.

But now I have some faults.

- When the car is moving the doors auto-lock desnt work. I deactivated that opcion on infotainment because car tried to lock the door one or two times per minute

- If I lock doors using lock button in front of the gear lever the door are locked, but I can't unlock doors using that button.

- auto-folding mirrors when car is parked and locked doesnt work. That opcion is on infortainment but I can activate it.

I followed the SashaGrace instruccions and I can do that:

[10] Adaptation, choose from the drop down channel

[24] - Access control 2 - Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus change to “by look command via remote control key”

[26] - Access control 2 - Menuesteuerung Funkspiegelanklappen change to “active”

But I didnt find those:

Is it possible to change the module for a newer one or will the new one have cp protection? Maybe better update it if possible?

I don't think door modules are part of the component protection constellation:

What car did the modules come from? They might need an Octavia dataset uploading before they will work properly.

The modules come from a 2016 or 2017 Octavia (I don't know exactly). From the same car that the door and mirror modules come from. Do I need to change the can gateway only? or also BCM?. Thanks.

Original cangateway is 5Q0907530L and the one on car mirrors and modulces come from is 3Q0907530G. Can I upgrade my 5Q0907530L using 3Q0907530G?

Replacing the CAN-gateway will definately require some component protection work.

Can you post a full autoscan from before and after the door module swap and ideally adaption maps for both sides?

Hi Folks, Replacing the Lambda (Oxygen) Sensor on my sons 1.2 TSI Fabia Mk2 2011 engine code CBZB It’s the Bank 1 Sensor 1 So the top sensor pre cat etc. Can anyone give me the correct Torque setting for this sensor please. I’ve tried a search but not having much luck and I don’t trust the google links with suspicious online manuals. Be much appreciated if anyone can help. Thanks Nick

I've had a 2005 Octavia Estate and have just had to dispose of it after 241,000 miles. I've replaced it with a Octavia 1.5 2023 Estate with 128,000 miles on the clock. The Car warehouse place I bought it from only provides one working key, but there was another in the pack that doesn't work with the car. Hi Has anyone else had issues with Skoda Connect/My Skoda app since Wednesday this week? My 75 plate Monte Carlo came with 3 years worth of Skoda Connect included (My Skoda app, vehicle status, live maps, traffic alerts, online anti theft alarm etc), and since Wednesday it's completely stopped syncing despite it still being logged in. Looked online and can't see any issues? Although the Skoda Connect website says it can't find any available products/services for my car. Thanks
