Samsung Galaxy S23 and Skoda Octavia IV

Like standard Android Auto, wireless Android Auto overrides your car's infotainment software and lets your phone do the heavy lifting. It requires a compatible head unit and in-vehicle Wi-Fi. Bluetooth doesn't transmit enough data to support wireless Android Auto.19 Jul 2023

  • That's odd! Wired AA should work without any glitch. Concerning the wireless AA, IIRC since MY22 or MY23 all mk4s should have it. The first 2 years only had wireless CP and wired AA. (someon

I decided to go with Samsung s23+ and can confirm it works fine with AA. I had some doubts, cause while googling, I saw some people posting about issues.   Thank you again for all the answer

  • Welcome back! I haven't seen you around for quite some time! I hope this means you've been enjoying your car without any serious issues.   I've tested an S23 Ultra for a slightly more than a

Does anyone with Octavia and Swing (with smartlink+ WIFI) was able to connect with S23 Ultra? For me it dosen't work with cable and I want to activate Wireless option on Swing option but I want to know if it's working with S23 Ultra.

Hi guys, is there any solution to get AA working on Swing with S23 ultra? I have tried almost everything on my octavia 4 but nothing helped.

All I can get is connection failed and I can see two phones in my menu. One for Bluetooth connection and the other one for AA connection.

I have the same issue (octavia 4/swing infotainment/wired connection) with my S23 ultra as well. S10+ and S20+ connected flawlessly to my car before but it is infuriating that such issue occurs on such a high end phone.

So you don't use AA? Because for me it's very important and I am thinking of returning the phone and buying something else

Use a Motorola G60s as a AA provider. For now I hotspot from the S23+, hoping they'll find a solution soon. But its a pain in the arse.

Unfortunately, I'm out of the return period for the Galaxy, so I'm stuck. Should have went with a Moto Edge 40 Pro or something.

Or, even tho' I really dislike Apple, have to admit. The iPhone works wireless even with Swing. I guess it's really comfy to get in the car and have CarPlay waiting for you...

I've got new S24 Ultra for two weeks - no issues with AA at all. Infotainment sftw in my Mk4 is 1941.
