Is it possible to stop the drive modes switching back to normal every time you turn the ignition off and on?  I have my favourite options set under Individual and would like the car to stay in that mode. I had an Octavia Vrs TDI estate since 2019 before switching to the Kodiaq and it always stayed in the mode it was in when turned off. 

I'm pretty certain this has been discussed before and the answer is "you can't".  Sorry!

I believe you can't change the default drive mode as WLTP mandates that the car has to default to the mode in which it was tested.   Unless, anyone knows if it's possible to change this with VCDS...?

Not if it is built to EU6d RDE step 2 compliant emissions level

Has to default to as tested on start up

 

Older cars from few years ago had option to keep same as last used.
