Funny how you find all the common problems of a car after you buy one! 

 

Does anyone know how I can find service bulletin numbers or whatever they call them? 

 

I've realised most of my doors hold water then have a big puddle on the sill when you open and they don't dry out too well. I read there was new seals with new drain holes? Is there any number for this as I'm making a list to take to a garage. 

 

Secondly being a 2014 tdi VRS Estate, extra long cranking is happening once or twice a week when I start , it starts but cranks for a good 6-10 seconds, and it worries me! I also saw there was a software update for this? Again does anyone know how I find the number so I can give the dealer no excuses if I take it in? Or are these issues you'd just live with? The water worries me as every window has a fair bit of condensation after rain!

A comment on page 2 gives the part no's for the modified seals for the front doors.
