Engine Re-Map 1.4TSI & Alloy Upgrade

Featured Replies

Looking into possibly having my car (1.4 tsi SE Sport) re-mapped and the figures look interesting! Extra 30bhp and about 50 extra torques.

Has anyone done this to the 1.4? Is it worth it at all? how badly did it effect your insurance?

Speaking of insurance.... Has anyone come across any issue when putting slightly larger alloys on their car when informing the insurance company?

looking to fit a set of these https://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/romac/pulse/silver/18-inch/skoda/octavia/mk3-5e?year=2016  moving from 17", thoughts??🤔

If the wheel size are available stock on the car then there will be no issues with the insurance as the car is made to ride with theme.

For the remap, it will affect the insurance. How much? I can't tell as the 1.4 may not exist with the power.
