Can anyone give me a rough idea of the cost of getting replacement driver's wing mirror glass for my Mk1 Octavia vRS ?

If I can't find a scrapyard with some stock, it'll have to be a new part from a dealer...

Does the IND signify a built-in indicator ? Or a part for the Indian market ?

Why dont you go to your nearest car shop and buy a glass

Summit part no is adrg309 Halfords will sell it or any acccesory shop

the price should be about £10-£12 and yes they are blue tint and have the blind spot and are the same as golf mk4

But no heating and it's a stick on bit isn't it?

For that price, it's bound to be a stick-on jobby.

That would do as a short term fix, but I'd prefer the real deal. Just had a quote for £40.14 all inclusive from my local dealership.

I think that "IND" may mean India in this case, and "KSA" the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I can't find any other meanings for either of those in ETKA and they only seem to crop up in the mirror section at a quick look.

For anyone who stumbles across this thread in the future, I thought I'd add details of the temporary stick-on glass Ive just fitted:

SRG-456 (drivers side, flat, non-tinted) from British manufacturer Summit

identical to SR-456 from Halfrauds (approx £6). Probably just rebranded for them.

(same part numbers for Golf MkIV and Passat, unsurprisingly)
