Light Switch

Featured Replies

On a couple of occasions recently I have set off in my Karoq Sportline and received a message telling me to  switch on lights. I always leave the light switch in the Auto position but for some reason I find the switch in the Off position. I know for a fact that I have not switched it off and as no one else uses the car makes no sense.

Has anyone else come across this puzzle?

Many Thanks

Have seen this previously in the yeti section, and it was the drivers leg whilst getting in or out was brushing against the light switch, turning it off.

Absolutely agree. Done it many times. Never realised that I was doing it until I needed the lights on as I normally leave it on Auto.

I have had the opposite. I leave mine on auto, and my knee knocks it to on. Only happens when my wife has used the car and moved the seat forward. I find t interesting that he car tells you to switch the lights on, not heard of that before.

Me too...  :)

Mine dims the conventional dashboard lighting to give that warning.

Checked recently, and sure enough I was knocking it with my knee  - Making sure in future to take more care.

Thanks everyone who replied 👍

Usually Ive been messing with long coding or whatever and turn it off (to save battery) and completely forget 🤔
